How to play

  1. No turns! Everyone plays at once, as fast as they can, for two minutes. Most points wins.
  2. Three rivers show a card each. Play a card from your hand onto a river if it's one higher or one lower (9 and 1 wrap round): +1 point.
  3. Snap! The same number scores triple: +3.
  4. Combos: play again within 2 seconds and your points multiply, up to ×5.
  5. Answer questions to draw cards: +3 for every right answer. Get 3 in a row for a power card: 🌊 Wave (new cards on every river), ❄️ Freeze (everyone else's hand freezes), 🦦 Wild Otter (goes on any river), 🎣 Hook (steal 2 cards from the leader) or ✨ Double (double points for 6 seconds).
  6. Too slow! If someone plays on a river just before you and your card no longer fits, it bounces back.
  7. The Rapids: in the last 20 seconds, every point counts double.
  8. Controls: click or tap a card to play it; if it fits more than one river, pick one. On a keyboard, Q W E R T Y U play your cards, A S D pick a river and 1 to 4 answer.
