River Rush

Ride your log down the river, dodge everything in your way and answer questions for power-ups.

How to play

  1. Ride the river. Your otter floats downstream on a log, and the current gets faster the further you go.
  2. Swap lanes with the left and right arrow keys (or swipe) to get round rocks and narrowboats heading upstream.
  3. Jump with the up arrow or Space to hop over floating logs and fallen trees.
  4. Dive with the down arrow to duck under low branches and footbridges.
  5. Catch fish for points. Three bumps and your run is over.
  6. Question buoys come every so often, with a rock either side of them across the river, so the only way through is the buoy in the middle: ride into it for a question. Answer right for a power-up: a bubble shield, a fish magnet, double fish or otter turbo. Get it wrong and the river fights back for a few seconds, with fish leaping at your screen, water splashed over it, thick mist or rapids.
  7. Race your class. When your teacher starts a River Rush live game, join it from Classes. Everyone rides the same river, you see the others as faint otters, and the leaderboard ranks everyone by score.
