How to play

1. Sail your ship with the arrow keys, then press Space to dive. Answer a question right to charge your battery and dive.
2. Steer the submarine to a treasure chest on the sea floor to grab it.
3. Bring it back to the ship and answer a question to keep the gold. Get it wrong and it sinks again.
4. Watch your gauges. Run out of battery and you'll need to answer questions to recharge. Get back to the ship before your oxygen runs out, and don't stay deeper than your pressure gauge allows or your hull will crack.
5. Five voyages. Each has its own look, from a sunny lagoon and a coral reef to a kelp forest, a starlit trench and a volcanic abyss. Find the map hidden in the water on each voyage to unlock the next one. The Maps button shows a chart of each map with its treasure, and your progress, gold and upgrades are saved.
6. Explore the caves. Every voyage has caves winding down through the rock, each with a chest in its chamber. The deepest ones are beyond your hull at first, so upgrade your pressure gauge and come back for them. The arrow by your sub always points back to the ship.
7. Beat the Kraken. Collect every chest on all five maps and the Kraken rises. Beat it for bonus XP and shells, and every map resets so you can sail them all again.
8. Dodge sharks as they patrol back and forth (time your way past them). You have 3 lives, and you might find a spare one in a chest, a clam or a cave. Follow the dolphins to treasure. Bump a glowing jellyfish or swim into an undercurrent (the streaks in the water) and you get a quick-fire true or false: right and you escape, wrong and you get stung or swept away. Swim into a clam on the seabed to play clam pairs for pearls. It gets darker the deeper you go, so spend gold in the shop on upgrades like a torch.
